and maybe go to 19' but in NSW widening track by more than 25mm is illegal - at the moment I have widened track by 24mm, and although people do it, I dont wind my insurance made void in the event of a serious accident........

have you tried talking to an engineer to get a certificate for wider wheels? I remember a while ago that somebody on here looked into it and the engineer at the time said it wouldnt be a problem so long as there was no isuue with rubbing

^ width isnt the issue, its possible to go +2 inches over stock (engineers will write a report for this) however I have just spoken to an engineer who confirms that the 25mm track increase is a hard and fast rule for passenger vehicles.

so everyone who is going more than 12mm a side wider in track than stock is taking a fair sized risk in the event of a big acco.....

Car looks great Rob, the pics don't do it justice.

Have to say that I think your car is the nicest handling car I have been in, sits so flat for such a big car.

Thanks Russ. Yeah, the pics dont come up so great, first ones in the first post are diabolical.

this year I am going to try and play with the spring rates in the tein coilovers, maybe step them up 20% or so and see how they go.....I reckon body control would be improved even more, and the shocks "should" be able to handle them. As an indication that would mean almost double the stock / normal king spring rates. Shouldnt be TOO expensive either as the springs will only be about 400 bucks + labour.
