Looking for a new car, smaller one to save on fuel through the week, and stopped by auction today and just wondering what u should actually be looking for??

While I was there I saw two xr6turbos, one was grey and stock I think 04 or 05, and it went for 16000, I was shocked someone got a great buy, and there was a blue one ari nukber plate and it looked modded but didnt see what it went for, just wondering what exactly I should be checking out on small cars at the auctions?? thanks

Just look for the same things you'd look for if you were buying it privately, low km's, good interior and exterior condition, if you can get a geez at the motor look for tell tail signs of abuse. Then take what youd expect to pay privately and knock off a couple of grand.

Its pretty easy to pick up a good car for a good price at the auctions but just depends on the day and who else wants the car. Dad's been workin in the auto trade for 30 odd years and was with AUTOGROUP for the majority of that and they really do run a great system, I minaged 2 get my first car for about 2 grand less than it was really worth
