These things will boost the egos of 427 owners, so it's not really about whether it's going to be the quickest thing on the road. Have a look back at recent memory with the special HSV that come with milestone kw numbers. Already mentioned the 1996 215kw GTS-R going for over $100k when new, now worth as much as a used 5 year old taxi. Then you have the 2002 300kw GTS coupe for $100k going for about $35k these days.
