These things will boost the egos of 427 owners, so it's not really about whether it's going to be the quickest thing on the road. You could buy a Hyundai Excel, spend $20k and have it blow the tits off a stock T. This is PURELY about exclusivity and if anyone says otherwise, they have rocks in their head. Posted 22/06/08 08:24 AM Share Posted 22/06/08 08:24 AM Although it's a Expensive Daewoo and it's a hell of a lot of money, providing the owners look after their cars, in a few years it may be worth over $200k, any 6T with a heap of money spent on it will only be worth 10-20 Kno way in hell these cars will appreciate in value in the coming years. Have a look back at recent memory with the special HSV that come with milestone kw numbers. Already mentioned the 1996 215kw GTS-R going for over $100k when new, now worth as much as a used 5 year old taxi. Then you have the 2002 300kw GTS coupe for $100k going for about $35k these days. The problem with Expensive Daewoo as opposed to ford is they bring out a more power car every year devaluing the previous year cars very quickly...I'd take a bet that the 427 engine will be standard form within 2 years
