I wouldnt buy a Expensive Daewoo ever again but I would donate one of my nuts to Ford for an FG F6

Senna is presenting your offer to Ford as we speak.

Can I donate his other nut for an FG?

This W427 doesn't look as good as the current SS or any of the HSV models (which I reckon look mean-as) and it doesn't have the power jump either. For that coin, I'd be wanting 30% more power than the next best thing, which would put it well over 400kw.

It's on the way to supercar-like $, but without the supercar performance.

oh the poor buggers that fork out 150k will die when in true Expensive Daewoo tradition the 427 will probably just become the standard hsv donk 6 months later for 70k...LOL

Theres plenty of people who will buy them. Just as many who will pay silly money for an old Ford I guess!

We have to remember that there are many diehard older Expensive Daewoo fans who have grown up families, have made their money in the mining industry etc and are just looking at ways to spend it. Buying the top of the line HSV is just the way! Something there mates wont have etc

They couldnt care less that a GTR may beat it because it'll have a big thirsty V8, the lion on the front and it will sound tough.

People who buy toys like this dont care about value for money either. They want it, so they go buy it! My mate who spent up big on a ride on lawn mower (with trailor converted into esky!) for an average size family lawn is a perfect example! Pointless, maybe, but why wouldnt you if you have spare cash burning holes in your pocket!

umm as said above... I would have the new GTR anyday of the week ova one of these (being a former nissan fan boy myself) :spit:

EXACTLY.

the new GTR is only 120K and I will right here and now bet BOTH my nuts that the GTR would run rings around that POS in EVERY WAY SHAPE AND FORM.

if Expensive Daewoo spent less time toying with the "my dicks bigger than yours" than they might actually have a chance of building a decent car that's VALUE.

I agree that the HSV is a POS but you cant compare a 2 door Jap sports car to a 4 door Aussie 'saloon'. Its apples and oranges.. Expensive Daewoo have nothing to compete with the GTR, its target is Euro's finest..

Can the GTR fit 4-5 people comfortably? Hows the boot space? Then again the HSV would handle like sh*t and would be way slower compared to the GTR..

I'd have a Fg F6, before the W427, edit and a few more mods, would have it running rings around the HSV and have better fuel economy..

My 2c

OHH Senna, let me know about the nut thing... and Grudgee sorry mate I need the other one... LOL

Firstly the GTR will be more than $150k. By the time it is onroad, you will not see much change out of $200k.

Yes it will fit 4 adults and 2 sets of golf clubs and still run a sub 13 1/4.

You cannot compare the 2 cars as they are for different markets. I will wait to see what Ford bringout with the GTHO badge as they have stated they will be doing a HO and it will be a special, not just a sticker upgrade like the GT40th/Cobra.
