When you actually OWN ONE then come on a bleat about how wonderful it is. If ya don't then it doesn't matter, because everybody is entitled to anopinion and there are quite a few people who do think the FG is ugly. I also said that the car to me is in the same genre as the AU meaning that I don't think it is a great leap forwards. You can search 5 years of my posts here and you won't find one bagging of the AU from me. So if you love the FG that much go buy one. If you can't buy one keep dreaming, but understand everybody is entitled to an opinion. I hope they sort it a bit better for the series 2, and it does go faster and handle better than the current model, but as far as the styling is concerned. Well whatever floats your boat matey.

First they say the FG looks too much like the BA/BF, of which they like.

Then they say the FG is ugly (despite it looking barely different to the BF they so dearly love).

Then they say it looks like the AU, which they hated, but love the BA/BF.

My BF is only 18 months old, too new to replace, but I'm happy to say the FG sh*ts on it ina just about every aspect:

The FG looks better

Is better equiped

Is quicker

Is more fuel efficient

The interior is a million times better

Handles better

About all I'll conceed is that the FG instrument colours in the XRs is a bit cheesy, and the range of steering wheel adjustment isn't as good.

If you want an FG FPV 310 but with the smooth tough looks of a GTE you'd be combining the best of both worlds. Theirs no difference in the front or rear bars between the two of them apart from the XR8 bonnet and the GTE's lip spoiler. This wouldn't cost much and Im quite sure S.F.A. would think Ricer when they looked at it cruise past on the street!!

I think you will see many GTE style fronts on F6 310's and GTs.
