Great post R Spec :sleepystuff: . They just don't seem like a real Falcon to me, Camry or Mitsi 380sh somehow. If they don't show better mod potential than what the BF11 Phoons & R Spec do, then you me and 298 others got the last of the REAL high HiPo turbo Falcons :ifiusethisimafag: $65k + on roads for a car that graunches into 2nd, I drove an FG XR6T that had 4500klm and shocking driveline shunt. In essence I think nothing much has changed except the power has been bought up to the level of a generic tune (big deal) the pricing has become ambitious especially considering the build quality, or lack thereof, and they have gotten a damn sight uglier :wackit:

The R Spec will stay as a toy.

Looks great to me :wackit:

Just needs to be optioned with the Dark Argent 5 spoke 19's :ifiusethisimafag:

Well said Rick.

That vid has been on youtube for 2 days and it's already had 3000 views! It's the only live vid of an FG. Get out there and shoot some vids people!

I wish I taped the whole thing and then edited it  oh well...

Edit: If you go to the youtube one, you can click 'view in high def' it's heaps better for watching the speedo tick over

Justin - Seduce is a tricky colour, considering the cars I have seen in seduce, I'm really not sure if it would look right. that's the funny thing about colours - you can't please everybody!

Ummmmmmmmm, yeah like 6 years of carried over driveline shunt, crap gearboxes. Have a look inside the latest FPV, it's like a bloody Aurion. The dash and gauges are basically unreadable, the console screen is too far away, the fabric is Ho Hum, and it looks more lairy than what it does a performance car. Sure they are going to have good points, but comparing the cars many people still think the BF is a better looker. And before anybody starts the jealousy thing, I've had a BA GT, 2 BA Typhoons, and I presently have 2 BF Typhoons, and if I wanted an FG Phoon, I would go and order two of them tomorrow and keep the R Spec as well. I just reckon Ford havn't done anything marvellous here, and not much at all considering they have left BA-BF inherent faults in a car that Ford Aus future depended upon. I think that the cars have gone backwards, especially considering the price increases. On an emotive note I still prefer them over anything HSV turns out. But I have to say my next real car will be a Euro. Makes me seriously wonder about the future of Aus car manfacturing, how can it be that heard to get build quality up to a decent level. Sure the clowns from Wheels and Motor comapre FPVs and HSVs with the worlds best cars, and they have raved about the FG F6, and yet here is an R Spec owner who drove one and wasn't that impressed, so much for the motoring writers :Welcome2FordXR6t:

But then again in 6 or 7 years time when the next shape comes along, if it ever does, everybody wil have forgotten, and I may have even begun to act my age and bought a nice gentlemans cars :finger:

Pat Seduce is available in the FG FPV V8 range so dont see why the FG FPV F6 would be hard to make in that colour :bangcomputer:

If you read the post, that's what I intend to do next time around. I also said that the FGs obviously have some good points about them. I think the BAs and BFs were better looking and presented cars than the FG and I've been dabbling with these cars since 2003. If I do go Euro I wil most likely also keep the R Spec. I just don't see the value for money in the new models, and they do appear to carry over a lot of the inherent faults from the BAs & BFs.

All of my Typhoons have been bought in pairs, and there is nothing in the post to suggest ACTING well off, it's just the truth :shakefist:
