hey mate,

the trd hilux looks to be pretty good. $72k seems way too overpriced for what you get.

ive heard they go pretty quick as well. something like 7.5 - 100 which isnt too bad for a hilux.

you cant compare a hilux to a territory. territory is a 4wd suv, the hilux is more a work ute. price wise, the base territory turbo is around $56k compared to $72k for the hilux, massive difference.

territory turbo does around 6.5 - 100(on a good day)

way quicker than the hilux.

turbo v supercharger, I reckon the turbocharger is way better, I cant say ive driven a supercharged before but the turbo has way more potential than a supercharger.

territory turbo would hands down be a better car :bangcomputer:

If it's for work, get a mid level hilux and get the old man to spend the remaining $35k on a family trip around Europe. :buttonit:

I'm struggling to see the point of this comparison!

Performance? No comparison Territory by a mile

Drivability? No comparison Territory by a mile

Value? No comparison Territory by a mile

Purpose? No comparison Territory = family wagon better on road by a mile, Toyo = work truck better off road by a mile

Power train? No comparison Territory by a mile, silky smooth 4.0 turbo and state of the art 6 speed ZF trans. Toyo supercharged 4.0 V6 with clunky auto.

The Toyo is a hi performance sports 'truck' the TT is a high performance luxury family wagon.

Don't get me wrong we have a 6 mth old HiLux in the family, it’s a great vehicle for its intended purpose but it’s in no way comparable to the TTG that shares the same owners surname!!

Theres a reason the Hilux was Australia's number 1 seller last month.....outselling both the Falcon and the Commodore...
