I really liked the flat deck spoiler on the BA/BF but not entirely sure about the FG. Kinda makes the boot look a little narrow. Just my opinion though. I'd still be happy to drive one.

Well that's fcuked it then. I think the FGs have more of an AU genre appeal about them than they do visually wise.

Sort of lost, unfinished and not quite right. The FPV range to me looks more blantantly overt than actually tough.

Still the FG is here and only time will tell. I think the last of the FG F6s will be a well sort after beast.

No doubt I'll end up with a series 2 in 18 months or so.

l could be tempted into one later this year if l could buy a manual

HSV are releasing a Senator later this year with the new Tremec 6060, l wonder if FPV will respond. Doubt it!

I think those who are saying AU, are those who want it to look bad and are trying to justify or create a reason to their existing car (or those afraid of change if you will).

The FG cops flack for being too similar to BA/BF, and now AU. Well, which is it?

I have to admit that it looks a lot better in the flesh than in the pics, but give it a chance. If we don't give the FG a chance, it may well be the last Aussie Falcon.

And those who want manual, in what is essentially a big cruiser, get a GT and change the wing. There are plenty of cars on the market that are either auto only, or manual only. The market Ford are aiming for in an Exec express, doesn't want manual, why would they wast their time and money providing something that only a very small handfull will buy?

Because it would sell more cars. It would stop me buying one, it could easily be released in a manual since its an identical driveline to a GT. l will strongly consider a Senator this year as it can be had in a manual. Just because you want some luxury and something a bit more discrete doesn't mean you have given up on driving too.
