hey guys, dunno if any1 else experiences it... but in my T56 6 speed, when trying to hard shift to 2nd gear it tends to not let it go in.. if I go slower and smoother it will.. but if im frying the tryers and try to shift to 2nd it just wont physically let me shift... ive only noticed this problem since ive had the malwood clutch in and had it tuned to 288rwkw... any other gear its fine.. its just a lil funny with 2nd gear... and also now and again if I start up my car it wont let me go into reverse unless I move the gear stick from side to side in netural.. then it lets me...

any ideas?

Try bleeding your clutch, and change the oil to transmax Z, that will improve your shifts, what option mal wood is it..

he might be able to shed further light on it or just PM him.

Drain out the redline and put trans max-z or royal purple synchro max in and get your clutch bleed again. Redline is known for killing t56's IIRC the composite synchro's dont like it.

Also make sure your gear stick is tight on the box. Althought the symptons of the hard shifting/gear selection first thing in the am sound like an oil issue

I have had 2 F6s get graunchy within 5000klm after Redline was put in. I think from my experience with Redline in the engine and gearbox that it has a far better reputation than it is entitlled to.

Ive got the op 3 and it happened to me aswell, dont give it too much sh*t beacuse your flywheel will come loose, im on my 4th Clutch atm including my stock one! make sure the people that install it for you do a good job and tighten everything in the clucth so it doesnt brake, ive got a shifter installed now and it makes it a little bit easy to put into gears, so it want brake.

Just replaced it with Tranzmax Z oil and it worked a treat!!!

no more hard shifting, reverse works like normal and it flat changes into 2nd no problems.
