Thanks for the help guys. Mines manual.

and if I give it in first, change to second, it just won't rev. Back off or change gears and its good again. I've had it coming off traffic lights without WOT. And it just won't rev.

I get the same thing on stock tune when I flash it back, so I'm thinking maybe my problem lies elsewhere????

Manuals do suffer also but not as much as auto's.

If yours is doing with the stock tune, you have a problem elsewhere, you need your tuner or mechanic to scan it out and check it over for you.

I have a very similar issue with my 03 manual t ute. On startup, engine stalls, sometimes 3-4 times. Stalls randomly at traffic lights. Idle isnt toooo bad, but a little rough at times. My main concern is that it too seems to suffer from torque control issues, so bad and getting worse weekly. Today taking off from the lights I had to use half throttle, then all of a sudden the throttle would 'catch up' ...It feels like the throttle is OUT OF SYNC with the pedal. A Data log revealed that commanded throttle and actual throttle position were different and gave a code that in reference to the Capa software manual indicated the use of torque control. Why this has only started to happen out of the blue I have no idea. It started off occasionally and only seemed to happen when accelerating hard out of a corner, and on the odd straight. Problem progressively got worse to the stage it would accelerate hard till 5 psi manifold pressure was achieved and then power would drop off as throttle was closed by torque control and revs increased ever so slowly. NOW every day , every drive , 1st -5th, Its a bucket of crap to drive. Going to swap computers with a mate tonight and see if that helps.

Might seem simple, but have you tried re-setting the throttle? Start the car with your foot flat to the floor (car will not start) and see if that helps.

Yeah its not that, also replaced the plugs, coil packs, throttlebody, fuel pump and filter, new line to fuel pressure regulator, manually checked wastegate not sticking open, boost solenoid lubricated. I am swapping computers with a mate tonight so we will see if that does the trick.
