I've been told my car could be suffering from these. 05 BA mk11 240rwkw. Been holding in a bit(won't rev)

I just wanna know whats it feels like(limp mode maybe?). How it works, or how the ecu deals with it.

And can it happen on factory tune? or only after custom tunes or generics.

Any help would be great guys.

had a lot of dramas with this on my car at one stage ,it generaly feels like the trac control is working , I first thought the actuator was playing up you tend to hear it dump a lttle boost when it happens and 2nd and 4th gear seem to be the worst for it

that's on a tuned car don't know about stock

I too had alot of problems with this.

My tuner said it starts happening when you up the power from stock

With the increase in torque, the computer thinks there is a problem and starts to close off the throttle, which made my car feel jerky, especially when giving it some stick up a hill.

The car would hit 10psi then drop down to 5 then back up again, it would do this all the way up the hill.

My car has been in the workshop for a total of 5 weeks to sort out this problem.

Every time I increase power I run into torque issues, it has happened on the last 2 occasions.

Your problem is fairly common with some of the late model processor codes. It was discussed in depth at the last 2 Nizpro training seminars.

hmm I know my 03 ba had real issues with torque control ,and we updated the ecu to a later program that solved 99% of the problems

Not disagreeing what your tuner has done as there have probably been lots of ways to get around things.

Justin has done the Nizpro course so he knows what is going on with them.

Most early BA's have had their ecu processors updated by ford during their service or warranty visits, sometimes the owners arn't aware

Most BA Autos are now running around with code A3HD which is a problem code, as said there are ways around it and too be honest different tuners probably have their own ways around it, some may even use an older code.

The main thing is yours got sorted out for you.
