re: my post that dose pipes kill performance.

I ran a dose pipe for a few days.

car lagged like sh*t, overboosted, it sucks in all the hot as f*ck air from the engine bay.

sure it sounds cool (for a while) but my car felt too laggy, and probably lost about 10rwkw

EDIT: DOSE PIPE being a 90 degree bent pipe coming off the turbo with a pod on the end

Ummm correct me if I'm wrong but dosn't removing your BOV make your engine succeptable to damage.

Isn't leaving it on a big no no from a legal point of view?

huh a factory part is legal. vent to atmo is not factory but still legal if engineered on a xr6

a couple of xr's have been given an engineers cert to run an atmo bov , it's ok on our cars because it vents before the air flow meter so the car doesn't add fuel for air that won't be there,cars that run the air meter before the bov cannot run atmo bov
