well heres my random question of the day...

I'm going to make up a slide show for my Little Sisters 21st next month and I am at a loss as which is the best program to use for cropping, resizing, playing around with the scanned photos.

They will eventually make there way onto a Publisher Slide show but I am needing some help with the program to use to edit them please.

Any help would be much apreciated people!

Cheers

Ryan

Easy!

Mate if you have Adobe Photoshop, use that for the scanning and 'playing around' etc...

You can use Publisher for the slide show, however you might find Power Point easier... that's what most business etc. presentations are built with...

If you wanted to get even more creative then you could use Flash... :)

Hope this helps...

:geek::cry:

ps- are all of us on here invited?

hehehhe

Powerpoint will do it all for the picture editing and is the best slideshow program.

If you need more advanced editing, Photoshop is the best, but VERY expensive for a home user to buy. Try Google Picasa, MS Paint that comes with Windows or MS picture editor that comes with MS Office.

get image resizer if you just want to quickly resize heaps of images to a more managable size like 102x768 or smaller I use it when I have heaps of scanned images

I want to get to a common size. otherwise you can use photoshop or paintshop por or something like that. to crop images
