I have used inconel studs and the glenlock nuts with a new gasket on the turbo to manifold mount.

I purchased mine from Nizpro, but be warned they appear a little dear compared to normal studs and nuts, but if they stop your problems it will be worth it.

I beleive some of the problem is not just the nuts vibrating loose, but the studs themselves begin to stretch with heat and the load from tension, once they stretch enough it is as if the nuts are now loose and are free they vibrate off.

whats it sound like? I've never checked mine.

Basically just like an exhaust leak

I'm sure Pauly would be checking them as part of a service like Ford should (but often don't)

Yep seconded Ratters advise, I had these Inconnel studs and nuts fitted by Nizpro, along with a steel gasket, havent had a problem since.

The car I did we only did the manifold to turbo, but if your turbo is coming loose it may be enough to start shaking to cause the dump to come loose.
