Best bet would be to try Fern Tree Gully Auto Salvage: http://www.ftgautosalvage.com.au/Default.aspOh, and dont click on this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fb9Q6ErB8cw Edited 14/06/08 04:08 AM by hanra

You could get them to pack the lot on one or two pallets and you would need to arrange for a freight forwarder to collect from them and ship to Florida. mustangman57 Member 11 Member For: 16y 6m 7d Posted 15/06/08 04:49 PM Author Share Posted 15/06/08 04:49 PM first I would like to thank everyone for all of your help. everyone on this forum seem so nice. a lot of the forums over here in the states people are pretty rude. everyone on this site seems to be about the love of the car. I like that, people gathering together for the good of the sport/car. if I got the entire car I would keep it as a right hand drive. I like RHD it is kinda cool being different my best friend has a RHD skyline. plus it would really throw people off to see a RHD FORD.... not many people over here really know about these cars so I think it would be unique. now really what are the differences between the different versons of this motor? I would like to see 400-500 HP I have no clue on how to convert that to KW. and how much (just a guess) does one of these engines, motors, and wiring run (before shipping). and does anyone know if any US parts would interchange. like transmissions or anything that I could find in the states to save me some cash on shipping. my mustang uses a borg warner T5 does anyone know if, with the right bell housing, would botl to this motor. thanks everyone your help is greatly appreciated. The differences between the motors are pretty simpleBA Mk1 - Weak Internals (Bottom end) Very weak valve springs BA Mk2 - Weak Internals (Bottom end) at somepoint stronger valve springs were addedBA Mk2 Typhoon - strong Internals, stronger valve springsBF Mk1 - Pre May 06 - Weak Internals, (Independant cam timing was added?)BF MK1 - Post May 06 - Typhoon spec internalsBF Mk2 - Typhoon Spec InternalsThe biggest problem you will have is the ECU, the computer in these cars can not simply be removed as it intergrates with other systems in the car, so essentially you would have to use an aftermarket ecu (ie: motec) and I can only think of one possibly two cars that have had experience with running an aftermarket ECU (one of them no longer runs it) and the other I am not 100% sure about. personaly if the budget would stretch a few thousand (its going to still cost big dollars to get the motor set up and tuned) you should just import the car, shipping a car from the USA to AUS is about $3000 and I would imagine it to be about the same on a return journey. then you have a car that you probably would never see another one of on the road. and the cars themself are pretty cheap second hand ($20-$30,0000).. but then I dont know how hard it would be to register a RHD car in the statesoh and BTW there was a guy a few years back who was working on putting one of these motors in a mustang, here ya go ---> http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=18817might be worth getting intouch to see how he went
