I have aquired a monster tacho and just wanting opinions..... I probably wont put it in as

1: theres nowhere to fit it where it will be legal and look ok

2. there a bit of a tug tug especially because we already have tacho's in the dash

also a shift light wouldnt be a bad idea are we able to just hook one of them up????

They do give you about 50rwkw's but on the other hand they make you look like a full blown tossa.

Each to their own mate, but when ever I see one of these units sitting near the a-pillar of a lancer (and other rice buckets) it makes me cringe and want get out and bitch slap him/her.

I wouldn't do it if it was me. dunno if you can hook up the sh*t light by itself.. autobarn sell these on their own .. a brand called Gizzmo.. just a shift night no tacho. (no idea how it works though).

cheers

The shift lights aren't a bad idea really if you are doing drag racing or track work, but the monster tach is fairly pointless as you only use 6000rpm max. if you had a big cam 4 banger that revved to 9000rpm it would be useful.

On the shift light side of it you should be able to find topics here about sponcers here having made small shift lights wich should be easy to wire into your xr6t.

Personally, I'd go with just the Shift Light.

I purchased one of these myself (below) but with a Blue lens kit, as I find it much less obtrusive than the big ass Tacho.

I was gonna put a small shift light in, that way it's alot easier to run people with your music flat out.
