I may be being pushed back down the list because I am a fleet buyer or because I have not been a pest. Either way I want answers and I will get them.

Fleet buyers are always last on the list. Every time a retail buyer wants a car of same/similar spec to yours, he'll get it and you'll wait some more. Find another dealer who wants your business and hreaten to change dealers if you can. I did change dealers and got my car within 6 weeks of change of order and more than 2 months earlier than the 1st dealer was quoting.

Ring Ford Customer Service (13 3673) ... these guys are great. :gasthrower:

there's the go,

they currently hold number one position for customer service over Expensive Daewoo and do pretty much anything to keep it.

speak to the sales manager, then to the dealer manager, threaten to take your business elsewhere unless satisfaction is provided (satisfaction may be in the form of free services, free tint, free metalic paint/rust proofing or some other option)

thanks to a little mishap with delivery of my car I can look forward to not haveing to pay to service my car for atleast the next year :gunsfiring:

they have room to move and can/will jump through hoops to keep business (especially the managers and Ford Customer Service, sales reps seem to be a transient bunch but the managers generally stay the same)

ringing customer service is a waste of time, while you are on hold they ring the dealer in question and make sure they're not going to tell you anything the dealer doesn't want to hear. I know this because I did it and the dealer gets in big trouble off the customer service people and in turn the dealer gets really pissed with you. it's a lot of trouble for no gain.

f**k the dealer....your the customer, they can get pissed all they like, your the one who can turn around and say screw you I'm taking my 50k down the road. Dealers that arent customer focussed dont deserve your hard earned to start with. And if they are that way inclined do you seriously want them servicing and maintaining your car for the next X years.

With Ford Customer service number, it all depends who you get on the other end of the line. I have experienced excellent, immediate help, but at other times only obstruction, ignorance and stupidity and, yes, calling the dealer on another line after I had explained I was just getting a second opinion and didn't want to hassle the dealer any more by saying "are you SURE you've got this right?"
