the tuner im using just fitted a 3 1/2" single xforce system to another customers xr6t & didnt like the tail pipe setup, a nice big 3 1/2 entry with 2 pissy little twins comin out the rear. sounded quieter than factory I think. has anyone done any mods to this system as far as cuttin mufflers out. (centre or rear) was there a performance effect or a descent note change???

Std its pretty quiet, but remove the cntre res and it sounds pretty loud. Take the end res off first 4 a sound sample of how it is with 1 b4 making your decision.

I think the tuner wants to fit & see how it sounds & then modify it from there. I basically said he can have hia way with it so, so be it.

I made 70 more Hp and gained 2 psi going from a twin 2 1/2inch exhaust to a single 4 inch straight through system. My thoughts are a 4inch system with your power chase. Good luck....
