After my previous post below........Ok, an update......After talking with the Police this morning, they told my soninlaw that 8 cars were targeted within a 5k radius of his home in Albion Park. They are sure that this an organised deal as , apart from my daughters Ghia, "all' those targeted were "XR6 and XR8 " BA-BF Fords and the Police said that if they find one, then they are confident that they will find all of them.Out of 8 targeted cars, they got away with 5 of them on Monday night......3 other attempts were foiled by either dogs or being otherwise disturbed...on one occasion they were chased by an owner and fled to another waiting XR sedan (probably already stolen) and got away. The Police feel that they are casing the residential areas and looking for easy targets, especially double storey homes with garages underneah or separate. So the message to all our friends in the southern Woolongong to Albion Park area is......secure your cars guys, at least until they bust these dropkicks.....You Southern members check your local papers or even something will come over your local radio I should imagine, if the problem is as above. Something a lil amiss though.I.B.

Stealing XR models in the Illawara region is not occurring and you are more likely to lose your corolla or excel then your T.Your information is wrong or at the very least one XR getting taken has led to glorified chinese whispers.Perhaps Slymeat can clarify this better.
