Bad Customer Service

Well its spark plug and service time for my car so I went to Supercheap at Menai this morn. Picked up the parts that I was after but needed to talk to someone about the Plugs.

I approach the counter and can clearly see that the plug stand is next to the counter.

I ask " Im after some spark plugs."

The person behind the counter who is now known as stupid bitch simply

says "They're over there" pointing to the spark plug stand."

I think ok yes I know that.

I ask" Is there a booklet"

She says "Yeah"

I look in the book (bosch) and it doesnt have a listing. There are also other brands such as NGK and the like but there is no booklet for them

I say "there is no listing" and stupid bitches body language says it all, making it look like a huge effort to move slighty over to the computer.

So stupid bitch looks for a while and I have to point out the model of the car in the list. I get the jack of it cause she is clearly not interested "Dont worry about it" and pay for the parts I already had.

Im only 24 and I used to be in the sales industry working for an electrical goods company. I would bend over backwards for my customers and if I couldnt find somthing I would call some one who knew.

So I ask whats happened to good customer service.

If anyone has similar stories post away

Doesn't really exist much now days, its just a pay check for her...

Not really a fan of Supercrap, but the guys in Bondi have always bent over backwards each time I have been there...

If your not such on the type of spark plugs u need, you can find it in the back of your manual...

I had a bad experience with Supercrap.

Went in, got a heap of parts, standing at the counter the chick was serving the guy in front, she finishes and just before serving me, he mobile rang.

She moves away from the register and started chatting, I said "excuse me" and she waived her hand in a shutup jesture. I could hear that she was just talking to a mate, so I dumpes the large amount of stuff I had all over the bench and floor (mostly tools) that made a loud bang and walked out. The person behind me did the same thing.

I am sure the girl enjoyed picking up a 136 piece socket set that burst open when I dropped it.

I am also in customer service business and bend over backwards for my clients and expect my staff to do the same. But when you pay crap, you attract the crap staff.

I have never been back and would never recommend supercrap to anyone.

Robbo, go to auto-one over the road, near the video ezy....they stock nearly everything for our cars filters plugs ect, and if he hasn't got it he will get it that arvo or next day, he opens 7 days as well, there good guys in there are always cheaper than so called super cheap... NFI in that whole place

Then swing past and we will put that cooler on as well biatch , just comon round..

I went into rocket industries for work a few weeks ago. NEVER AGAIN!!! My problems as follows.

1 Only had 2 people serving the desk while there were about 10 people waiting yet 20 odd people on the phones, not all were ON the phone!

2 While a bloke beside me was being served the idiot behind the counter decided it was his lunch time and up and left. HALF WASY THROUGH TAKING THIS BLOKES ORDER! There were still people to be served, including myself.

3 still waiting to be served another desk idiot asked if anyone else needed serving but was already out the side door before anyone had a chance to answer.

4 After finally ordering my parts they ring through to someone else, who eventually got all my bits together and then just walked in the side door and plonked them on the floor, no mention of whos parts they were or anything.

5 As mentioned above, no-one seemed interested in actually helping. When I asked a bloke if the T56's they had in the catalogue were available with a bell housing to suit the XR6T he shrugged and said "quote" who cares "quote"

I had to go through all that for 4 bits of silicone turbo hose and 10 clamps. Won't ever get my business again

Pete. Yeah ive been to auto one before. that's where I got the oil from. They didnt have the plugs so I went over the road.. NEVER AGAIN

Cooler .. Next monday arvo??

I had one the same last year went to supercheap and asked for some help. I asked for some stuff for my mazda the girl pointed its over there I said I have been over there and you dont have any.

she got real upset and went over and had a look. then she saw I was right and the part was not there she said in a bitchy tone what you want me to do about it

I said how about you call the other stores or maybe order it for me. she got even more upset that she had to do some WORK. she called one of the 3 shops here in my city and said they dont have it. then a pause and I looked at her and she was day dreaming.

I was waiting for her to ask if I wanted to order it but she just stood there dreaming. left my stuff on the desk and went.

very upset thrashed my car home and decided to email supercheap told them that I was disappointed in there staff and all I ever get is Kids that know nothing about cars. and that id rather pay more for a better service.I got an email 1 week later and it was a sorry and 20%

I went elseware and a mate went in 2 weeks later 3 or the regs were gone. new staff and they were helpful. they must of went there and cracked some skulls.

on the other side I have had a chick from supercheap go out of her way to chase stuff up for me. and was great to have that service.
