A very different feel to stock T.

groper Member 611 Member For: 17y 10m 14d Posted 08/06/08 11:50 PM Share Posted 08/06/08 11:50 PM 'ultimate' is user biased aswell senna, my definition of ultimate would be somwhere between 450-500rwkw. Yours might be completely different??? Traction is not a problem with good quality semi slick tyres, mine hold 400rwkw in second gear without spining if the road is good quality. The tune also has a huge effect on traction, if you ramp up boost slowly to avoid the big torque hit, traction isnt a problem. So tell me senna, what is 'ultimate'? Somewhere around 12-13psi would let you run normal street tyres to keep costs down but still be a very quick car. Saying semislicks can hold 400 on a good road is like saying my street car runs 10's when I strip the interior and fit slicks and front runners, not so much a street car anymore (we've already had that debate). Australian roads aren't great everywhere, I know on most roads around sydney my street tyres struggle for grip in second and first gear is absolutely useless.P.S. the 42R is the *beep*! Edited 09/06/08 01:05 AM by senna_T
