I can vouch for its crappy performance. I have a 'wog' cooler which is the same as a monster cooler. I had my car dynoed on a 35deg + day.. First run was around 240rwkw, second was around 230rwkw third was 213rwkw..

As I said it was a bloody hot day, the week when Melb had the heat wave, and the car was fairly warm to begin with.. The dyno operator was like "it doesnt like the heat"...

I'll try and post the dyno sheet..

Yes the bumper has to come off. Lights dont need to come out. But there only 4 bolts anyways. that's all that's come off the car. Pretty simple.

And it was 26deg when my car was getting tuned. Im sure ill feel it drop off in Cairn's summer heat.

Yep. This style seemed all the rage when I first started on this site. Things have changed since. But keep in mind there no 1/4 track here, bugger all 100 zones. My ute hardly gets on boost with my driving style anyways, and if it does your usually up some ones ass due to the traffic jams...

Actually, this topic brings up a good point.

There is no product in between the Monza ($250), and all of the rest ($1000).

I think that the sponsor who brings out a $500 cooler that is good for 300rwkw

applications will be onto a winner.

give rapid a call and I think you will find his coolers are under $600 and good for aprox 800hp

I just did the exact same thing myself last week as on the original post. did my homework on ebay, found a good looking cooler, buy it now of $400, but stuck around for the $1 opening bid auction, ended up snapping a 450x300x76 intercooler up for $136 delivered overnight express, thought to myself, jeez I'm laughing here, when the cooler arrives, its not a 450x300x76 at all, instead there was a frigging mammoth 600x400x100 cooler in the box with a overall inlet to outlet length of 780mm. now I'm stuck with this monster of a cooler, that will never fit my falcon in a million years.

still, but, could have been worse, and the quality is excellent!
