Why wouldn't you run a C10 over a older and weaker C4?
your probably just taking the piss but just in case you arent,c4 c9 and c10 are basically the same box.the c6 is the one that's different and from what ive been told the strongest.ive got a c4 lined up for nix so I may as well get it built.I have heard also that the t400 is a better box and would go down that path if that's true.another box that crosses my mind is the t700.they can be built to hold good power and have overdrive but im not sure if they'd like the weight of our cars.I know theres built 4spds out there coping well but in probably every 10-11 sec car they have failed. multiple times in some cases.I want a tough as nails box that doesnt mind 850-1000nm at 2500rpm.ill have a talk to bob grant next week.

Perfect to drive daily, just gotta make sure you keep them well cooled with a good oil cooler setup. Initial conversion was about $9K for box and mods to install.

als race glides did my c4, yes th400 are stronger but are also much larger, heavier and take a lot mor power to drive, the conversion is easy, I pretty sur your tail shaft will bolt up,(I had to modify mine cause it was a manual) cross member is easy, the box I got is transbraked but I havent even hooked it up yet because of a great converter, although the new 1200hp turbo should fix that. I would be ringing al and he can give you a price on conversion bellhousing box and converter,
