I put it to first use the other day, and ended up with a, 6.4 0-100km/h, and a 14.8 1/4 mile. Seems a little on the slow end, but this was the first time I have ever tried seeing how fast the car is, so there is always room for improvement, on private roads that is!!And to the people that don't know how to use it, its easy:1. Go into RaceChrono2. New Session3. Go into "performance test"4. Choose which ever one you like, then click back5. Then click 'Start'Now you just have to wait for it to connect to some satellites, and after that, you're off!If you ever want to change between 0-60ft or 1/4 mile, or 80km/h-120km/h just head into properties ---> performance test and change it.EDIT:Then just do the tests. Don't worry about the phone, you don't have to look at it or touch it at all (unless you are changing the performance test). As soon as you stop the car for a 0-100km/h test (for example) it starts the counter automatically when you start driving. Its all automatic! XrSexc Member 47 Member For: 14y 10m 12d Posted 22/03/10 11:44 PM Share Posted 22/03/10 11:44 PM As long as you have an internal GPS it will work. If you don't have GPS on your Iphone, you can buy an external GPS receiver ($60-$120) and change the settings in RaceChrono so that your Iphone uses BlueTooth to connect to the GPS receiver and then it will work. Its also more accurate to use an external GPS as the internal one wouldn't be as good.
gregor Member 459 Member For: 16y 4m 23d Posted 23/03/10 02:40 AM Share Posted 23/03/10 02:40 AM It doesnt work with the iphone. Looked into it a while back and the issue is the developer wont port the app to the platform unless the device allows a decent external GPS to be connected because the one in the phone isnt that great. And because apple are special they don't want to play the same way just about every other manufacturer does.As much as I love my 3GS I dont know if ill upgrade to the next generation unless they fix a few things and this is one of them.RaceChrono forum - iPhone 3G Port ?I've got a WM5 PDA somewhere, I should check if its still working if I get into trackwork on a regular basis. The cheapest option would be grab and old one off ebay or even a mate who is upgrading their smart phone.

In that run my 60ft was 1.9 and my 1/8mile was 9.3Does that sound right? All my other runs ranged 5.5 to 6 seconds to 100km/h

gregor Member 459 Member For: 16y 4m 23d Posted 23/03/10 06:05 AM Share Posted 23/03/10 06:05 AM I doubt your running 1.9 for a 60ft time on street tyres and a street surface but the best bet is to go to the drags and compare its readings to your timeslip.
