the phantom Member 26 Member For: 16y 6m 1d Posted 06/06/08 11:23 AM Share Posted 06/06/08 11:23 AM I am just wondering what it costs roughly to get a good work shop to put a tuff cam and valve springs into an XR6T, I am doing exaust, CAI, custom cooler and a tune so I thought I may as well get the cam and springs done at the same time but im not confident fitting them myself. where in melbourne dose them and roughly whats the cost to suplie and fit. Sure they'll give you an increase but money better spent elsewhere

They should be used if you feel that you are going to shoot at the pointy end of 300-400 rwkw to get the use of changing them. You will need to change your valve springs if you do go up in boost as you will experience valve float as your boost increases.GK
