Should I just get a work shop to make me up a fully custom stainless system rather than get a bolt on kit, any input would be great.here is what the difilipo web sight says the bolt on kit consists of:3" Rear Muffler in mild steel orstainless steel3" Front Muffler assy in mildsteel or stainless steel3" Hi-flow stainless steelCat3" Turbo Eng' Pipe with1 3/4" waste gate pipe

When looking for an exhaust recently, the Di Fillipo and XForce were the two I narrowed it down to. I think you'll find they make a 3.5inch system whyich is the one you want. It was much for muchness for me and in the end, price was the difference. The Di Fillipo was $300 more but has HPC coating on the dump and also cat I think. My only concern with the Di Fillipo was their past problems with bad welding on their mufflers. Having said that, the XForce stuff comes out of China.I can get the Di Fillipo at a decent price so let me know if you are interested.

I will post some pictures up when I get on my home PC tonight. I have been running a 3.5" DiFillipo exhaust for over three years now. The mufflers are 304 grade stainless but the piping is 409 grade stainless. The dump comes HPC coated but the cat doesnt. I found the "high flow" DiFillipo cat too restricted so I got rid of it. Simon from Xtreme Ford Tuning flow benched alot of cats awhile back and found the DiFillipo cat to flow not much better than a stock T cat. I hope this helps out. Feel free to ask more questions. I do like the sound of the exhaust though.

It sounds like the go would be to use the diffilipo dump and cat back and use a different cat. pic's would be fantastic aswell mate.

Sounds good if it comes HPC coated...Steph, u mind gettin a price for me for the dump only - the one with the seperat w/gate pipe plz. I take it that it wouldnt be too hard to utilize another more free flowing cat with the dump?
TornadoJudd Donating Members 818 Member For: 18y 9m 15d Posted 08/06/08 02:11 PM Share Posted 08/06/08 02:11 PM From memory simon didnt test or comment on the DiFillipo dump. The 3.5" DiFillipo dump starts of as 3" then goes to 3.5". Given my time again I would have bought an X Force dump and exhaust but they werent around when I bought mine. And Phantom 409 grade stainless is sh*t compared to 304 grade.
