These ones are no good, they use the old resistive touchscreen technology and they show too much glare. You get what you pay for with these things.

These are indeed old technology, and it will reduce the ICC visibility, and it will show reflection, but for $150-ish I reckon they are a steal! I would reccomend them for the price.

If you want better you should expect to pay more for it (and good luck finding them by the way).

I have one in my territory and the amount of glare and reduction in vision is so little its not worth worrying about

If they require VERY little or no mods to the fascia this will be very tempting. Would go well with the ASL kits.

I bought one off him, and it required no mods at all!!, I just have the glass sitting in front of the screen, doesn't move about at all, haven't got my carputer working yet still waiting on VGA to CGA converter but I have tested the touch panel and seems to work like a charm, I couldn't seen to get it working under windows vista 64bit, but my carpc is windows xp anyway and it works fine on that.

Cant notice much of a visibility difference with the overlay in there either, but I haven't been out driving in the sun yet, but so far so good. Thanks cnx!
