There are some timeslips and rwkw on the LS1 forum... there are a few 250rwkw cars (or thereabouts) running mid to low 12s...

that would shake up a 300rwkw XR6T...

I own a XR6T but if its true ill face the facts...

My opinion... On the street... the LS1 with manual gearbox would be hard to beat... On the strip with proper tyres, the XR6T would win...

On the street almost impossible to get them (XR6T) flying off the line... Wheel spin galore or nothing..

nah u just gotta know how 2 drive ive chopped many worked LS1s theyr not that quick unless someone has thrown 10-15 grand at them.

I beat a VT Ecotec with an exhaust on the weekend with my stock XR6T, god I was chuffed!

I have owned a VX SS manual and a VS Supercharged V6 Calais and I can honestly say that the VS was the best car I have owned, including the T.

The T and SS is and was a quick car and always made me smile but the VS S/C was a great traffic light warrior, had so much grunt down low. Never drove it like I stole it off the lights but gave it some to the speed limit and the LS1 boys couldnt believe it was a stock SC 6.

Not taking anything away from you, but I've ridden a 1098, if he was trying the front wheel would have been in the air for the first 2 and maybe 3 gears, well done anyway

No way man, Lada's rule. I once saw one climp up a near 90 degree hill that I couldn't even walk up, I gained alot of respect for them that day.

I agree with you about the S/C Calais VS. Lethal traffic lights warrior...

On the LS1 forum they swear black n blue that a SV6 will absolutely kill the Calais Supercharged V6 VS..

Someone started a thread how they got short changed when Expensive Daewoo dumped the supercharged V6 for the SV6 motor... Its like they started a war..
