On the street though would the XR6T beat a 250rwkw SS? My XR6T is hard to launch... Too much spooling and its wheelspin city, not enough and the are pretty average off the line...

Stock XR6T BA 4 speed Auto vs VZ SS pretty much dead even. Had a go with an VZ SS ute and bet him off the line up to 100. His nose was at my drivers door all the way.

A stock ZF 6 speed XR6T would beat one easy though.

I used to have a run with supercharged commos in my old 5-speed BA XR6 (now SubJimbo's fine automobile) and I'd kill them. I had more torque and more power. They would rattle their heads off and only really make any power when they hit high revs, whereas my Barra would pull me a car in front as soon as the clutch was engaged. The CV6 Monaros were the best bate at the time...

So I harly believe your VS would beat a BA N/A XR6 if both were stock!

that's weird, my very first run was with a VZ SS and I jumped him by about two lengths off the line then held that lead till it was over. His was a stock auto.

And yours was a manual? That's probably why. You probably hooked up the launch well, while the auto commie had to start from 1000rpm. Unless he's on the brake and has his revs up, you would win.

My 4spd auto's pretty slow off the line. I've gone against a stock Manual XR6T 5 speed, and again, there's nothing in it. Dead even. VZSS/XR6T (non BF) are dead even if everything's constant.

Yeah manual, he did stall it up though. Maybe he got a bit of wheel spin? I dunno.

I have had some stabs at some ss n xr6t when had ss n now xr6t. only problem I had was finding traction in my ute (ss) the xr6t goes good of the line but they r 2 total different cars. I like more of a harsh power where as the 6t is smooth. also had a vt calais super 6 n I reckon credit to its own super quick off the line.

Supercharged commies make there power low in the rev range.. that's what the supercharger is for... They have fark all top end..

My mate has a super VT, hes done a few bits and pieces, boosted, zorst tuned etc... makes about 160 rwkw and has 500nm of torque.. Which is good.. He gets a good takeoff but his weight and lack of top-end makes me the winner..
