diff gears anyone?

xr6t with say 3.08 would prob get killed by the ls1 with say 4.11... ?

but if everything is the same in the driveline, xr6t will kill it, and I do own a vy ss putting out close to 260rwkw... (3.9 diff, love it)

Lined my T up with a VE SS. Only running economy custome 8psi tune, 235rwkw.

I drive, we were line ball till we hit 50km and my sweet spot, had a full car length on the Expensive Daewoo by 100km.

r u sure the guy in the ls1 was aware of the race?

respect you view but a s/c vs keeping up with a 260atw (sure that was not the fly?

ls1 which must have been modded(260 atw) is hard to take.................

I have had one of each by the way........................ :buttrock:

Yes, he definately was well aware about what was going on, bare in mind l do have 3.73 LSD, which really gives my a kick start, and the weight factors and the fact the supercharger has been boosted, but if we both nailed it from 100kmph he would have had me.

cheers

Roop

Yup I totally agree there. The 3.73 diff gears work a treat. I drove Roop's car (SC6JET) for 2 hours today and the kick start it gives you off the line is quite incredible.

Those Marangoni tyres are also doin extremely well to keep traction. :buttrock:

My T is an 04 ute, I think its stock but have been told the guy I bought it from has 'tinkered' with it ... I dunno but for me I think it is quick, isnt much that keeps up.. I wounder what traction control would be like ....

I ran a VE ss the other night and it went REALLY well... I still had him but not by much...kept up better than most other cars around... I have no idea what mods it had but at least an exhaust judging by the sound of it...
