keep me posted. I just fitted pw under bat pipe so looking to see what

diffenence it makes before we re tune. I also have monza I/c and have seen

it work quite well on dyno. Lots of people crap on these I/c. Would be great

to hear if new pw stage 1 is worth the extra $$$........??

test done back to back runs with out letting car rest

monza cooler running 308 rwkw ,one run 308 second run 288 that's all that was tried

process west stg 1 plus ubp first run 308.9 ,2nd run 308.1 3rd run 308.6rwkw three runs back to back

the reason we stayed at 308 is I still have stock valve springs and they are at there limit

not only did it run consistantly but it's also added an average 20rwkw from 100kph through to 150kph where it flattens out at 308rwkw(4spd auto tested in 3rd gear)

boost starts around 13 psi till the car hits 308rwkw then tapers back to 11psi to keep the valve springs in check

they werent back to back runs for cooler comparasin they where back to back runs on each cooler

it wasn't to see wich cooler put out more power as stated im limited to the 308 for now . it was to see if the pw set up was more consistant ,and it is with more mid range power as a bonus

That's cool.

Back to back runs to see how power performs would be run performed after a run. Even by letting the car run for a few minutes between runs can be enough to let a good cooler cool enough to not show any power drop especially with the dyno fan running, while it is idling even the small amount of unboosted air passing through the cooler can be enough to drop the air intake temps to levels where there is no reduction happening.

Maybe my idea of back to back is different to what others beleive

Still an excellent result though

fair enough but I really think 1-2 mins at idle between runs is still pretty full on ,it was lterally enough time for the car to come back to idle have a quick glance at the dyno readout then back into it again

Your right , it is a hard test on the car and it's equipment.

You also know now that after giving it a bit of boosted fun, just a very small drive to get some airflow happening and you'll have your 308 rwkws back for the next squirt, unlike what would have happened with a stock cooler or monza
