Hi guys I wanted to know has any 1 out there fitted a CAI like the ones that Rapid/plazmaman/process west make while still retaining the cross over???

only looking at doing it in the short term.

and yes I am aware of the crossover replacement pipe process west make...

I am trying to work out my options with going with something like rapids Intercooler setup ( not reqiuring the x-over) or something like the stage 2 kit from process west.

both look like well make kits just working out what I want....

just throught doing the CAI now is one less thing to worry about.

thoughts???????????????

what sort of cooler have u got currently?

I was thinking about getting Process Wests crossover kit & CAI to suit my PW stg 1 kit...

Some have put a 3'' pipe with a filter on the end whilst retaining crossover - ala dose pipe... Think they're laggy due to short pipe sucking in hot air from engine bay.

But your talking about the CAI where the fog light is yeh?

I think it might be a bit of a hassle to fit it in as u still have the UBP etc....??

you wont be able to fit the behind-foglight cai if you cooler pipe still comes out from there.

yeah.... dam it.

just going to have to bite the bullet n spend up on a full intercooler intake set up.
