How did you persuade fleet to give you your SIDO number?? I think I have spoken to every single one of those suckers (not one of them wants to help me) in regards to a SIDO number, they all say that it is not available until late July (that is BS, dealer says it should be available first week July). It shouldnt be this hard, ridiculous is the word that comes to mind.

Little while later I emailed her back and said the spreadsheet hadn't been updated in ages and she replied same day with my SIDO. (PM me your details and I'll fwd the info)Anyways got an update. Fleet sent me the info to say car is at the dealers (got VIN etc), spoke to dealer but they're waiting for fleet to send them the drivers kit (most importantly, fuel cards hehe), so should be picking it up next week sometime. Wasn't that worried about the delay, just rang them to make sure they don't fit those old man mud spats and she said same thing Senna did about them being on backorder so don't worry. Given the car has auto-on headlights, its a stupid so called "safety" item.It was easily disabled on BA's by finding the little box attached to the loom containing a blade fuse and removing it. You can then let the auto-on feature decide when the lights need to come on. Edited 26/06/08 03:42 AM by Buf-Phoon

Not sure if this is an ICC setting in the FG's or if they continue to use the little box as Dave has mentioned

I think they call them "Daytime Running Lights", lots of big fleets do it sprouting it as a safety idea. Pretty sure all the cop cars do it. Ignition on = lights on. Put the lights to any setting you want, they stay on.BA/BF used an additional loom to achieve it as its not a function of the standard car/ICC. I hope this remains the same with the FG as it was a 2min job to defeat meaning you can use the Auto lights on feature as tab mentioned above.
