How do you explain turning the dynos with a little extra power (the ex coppers)..Many years ago, I had a ex police car commodore.. I wanted a memcal upgrade and advised the tuner of the current code. they said it was a Police chip... they said it had different setting than standard but they also said the different settings would not equate to more power??? what would they equate to then?my 07 BREEZE BF MK11 XR6 Turbo made 225 RWKW stock.. in 40 degree heat and with 20's on.. she pulls 13.3 flat at 107 mph.. something has been done to her.. she is also an ex country chaser.. I have an ex NSW highway patrol BF MK2 turbo (build date Dec 07) and it has definitely got a different tune and base kw. I spoke to a police mechanic in NSW that worked on these cars, he told me they did some "tweaks" to all the highway patrol cars NOT the street police cars and that they are not at liberty to discuss what was done. The Vic police cars were apparently not "tweaked" the same way.Im looking forward to pulling the ECU out and testing it to see what they did but that wont be for a while and in the mean time im enjoying the ride!!Live it, Love it, Drive it HARDDDDDDD
