Does anyone know how to install the timing chain on the xr6t's?

The top is self evident (two yellow links align with 2 markings on cam pulleys)

But not to sure on the bottom.

I think my chain might have skipped a link on a heavy down gear. Car rev’s died and engine shutdown. When I tried starting it, sounded as if it was out of time.

Not to sure if the marking on the bottom pulley is were the bottom yellow link of the chain must line up.

Here’s a pic of the bottom timing pulley.

Any help appreciated

sit the cams dots up, the yelow (I think) marks will line up with the dots.

the crank should be at tdc as you have it in the picture, now there is 2 painted links down there, one yellow one orange from memory, now one of those coloured link should sit directly behind that mark on the sprocket that you pointed out (6 oclock) the other painted link will be at about 5 oclock.
