Careful people, while no rules have been broken its starting to get close. Just remember play nice and no personnel attacks, then no one gets a holiday.

No offense, but this thread is going to sh*t.

SMG_473 you have not outlined a specific modification strategy the padlock man cometh. :loc:

Take it up with me directly via PM if there is a genuine need to keep this going.

I thought brian's more than 600 rwkw because in autospeed it says about 1200 hp!!!!

so how much power drop it has due to friction and body weight of the car???

It shouldn't be more than 60-80 KW!!!!

We set a target of a nominal 1000hp at flywheel for my build. Remember, that was in mid 2004.

I thought 1000HP would be more than enough, and back then it really was fantasy.

1000hp will equate to around 600rwkw; 1000hp = 750kw ; allow say 20% drivetrain losses as a guide.

The sister engine in that video had the same turbo as mine, but with larger compressor wheel and bigger cams for the extra 250hp at flywheel.

My engine has stronger rods and pistons, and extra things done to it over time.

If you want to drag the car go with an auto.

Budget $30-50k, and have a spare car.

As a guide 500rwkw is not so hard; 600rwkw is a huge jump; 750rwkw is unchartered.

My turbo is not really that big; really set up for the hp I wanted, and retain drivability; I could easily run a bigger turbo, but it would then be ONLY for a drag application. At least now I can can drive mine on the street (very carefully of course!)

Good luck,

Brian
