I gotta agree with you, nothing too freakish about it, I know of one 13.7 stock pass.

I brought an exFord exec car with 8250km on the clock, I seriously doubt they put a flash tune into it, I would have been disappointed with my time if they had. if they were going to do that they could have at least have done the right thing and put a APS Phase III kit on it for me. :P

It is nice to know that I got a good one though.

Did you get an E.T slip? If so would be good to post that. Also had a massive argument with my brother recently how claims that I'm dreaming if I think I could crack the 12's.

Mines a late 06 with ZF box with 255.5 rwks, I reckon I'd go close now that I've got sticky 265's on the rear!

Slap her up on the dyno... that is a very quick time for a stocker... did you buy the car new? maybe someone slipped in the generic tune before you picked her up...

A dyno will confirm the stock output... 185-190ish rwkw..

185-190 is not stock output for a BF2 XR6T with the 6spd auto.

Most I've seen have put down 200-210 on a DD, SHOOT_6F mode.

Funny you should mention that, scanned it in today.

With 255 with MT's if you don't crack a 12 something is wrong.

Interesting when comparing this to my TT time on the same night. You were .2 quicker to the 60' and 2km/h faster up top, but I cracked into the 13.5's.

I'm a simple man, and that confuses me. I guess mine must pull a bit more in the mid-range? :spoton:

I didn't manually shift , that is probably the difference. As the car is still quite new I didn't want to stress it too much, next time I will be manually shifting.

Well good on you for a great time. However it is very hard to believe the engine is stock with a trap speed of over 167km/h. Especially with an ET 13.6 together with an over 2 sec 60 foot time. A BA/BF XR6T to do that would be pushing about 240 to 250 rwkW even with the ZF. Calder is reknown as a "quick" track but it is still a bit hard to believe.

Thanks, but you better believe it, the car was absolutely stock.

RWKW's don't always equate to track times. The shorter 1st and 2nd gear in the ZF help enormously.

There is another BF with ZF that ran a 13.70 stock as well, it's not much a freak.

Not to blow my own trumpet, but I am not a bad driver. I do hold the NA6 record on AFF, so I do know how to race. Ask Mark (Spoolman) on AFF, he will vouch for my integrity.

Yeah that's unreal and gives me confidence that I can possibly crack the 12's and shut my brother up once and for all.

Start with C & V flasher with their tunes and you too will need some new sticky 265's.
