It hadnt rained for about three hours so I thought id try for it, drove out there at six to find the gate locked. I really enjoyed how they didnt change the website until 7pm, 2 hours after they locked it.

Calder Park actually have a "SMS" service where they SMS you if its going to be on or off prior.

Although on friday, they sent out a SMS at 3:50PM saying its ON and then another SMS @ 4:30pm saying its off due to weather.. I actually called them at 4pm asking them who was smoking what drugs, cos outside my window was pouring rain!

Call them up on 9091 0800 and give them your mobile number to go on the SMS notification list (its free)

if I find time I am coming for a look, there last test and tune had 170 cars..... I thought it was joke when I heard this but its true the place was packed 170...

Yes, there were 170 cars there, and it was a mad house. Most only got 3 runs in. But I dont think it will be like that on Sunday, as the last one was going to be the end of Heathcote, but now the owner is leaving it open with all the new support.
