Grudgee I saw your 13.5 run, what have you done in the way of modifications?I saw both Mark's F6 and your XR but didn't make my way over for a chat as I didn't know who owned what and if they were forum members. Great times on both accounts, would have loved to have a chat.My Territory isn't far off from being stock, as all I've done is debung the exhaust, drop in a phoon CAI and K&N, as well as a tune (capa flash). Very basic stuff, but good for 251kw at all 4 treads. I was stoked with the time, as I started out a bit rough whilst trying to get the launch and shifting right. I actually got 9 passes that went as follows... #1 - 14.054 Sports Auto, stalled up to 1300rpm#2 - 14.098 Sports Auto, stalled up to 1600rpm#3 - 13.956 Manual, stalled up in 1st at 1500rpm, revved it out hard#4 - 14.004 Manual, stalled up in 1st at 1500rpm, hit the limiter in 3rd.#5 - 14.194 Manual, stalled up in 2nd at 1500rpm, dropped to 1st on launch, awful shifting, best 60' for the night so far (2.378), with the worst top end (161.02Km/H)#6 - 14.267 Sports Auto, just planted it off the line, with no stall up. #7 - a pass that felt good, but the timing f'd up and I got no ticket, then a 2 hour break#8 - 13.595 Manual, stalled up in 2nd at 1500rpm, shifted at 5k (which actually shifts at 6k) and got a 2.278 60foot and 165.43Km/H - engine was nice and cool too, which surely helped.#9 - 13.726 Manual, stalled up in 2nd at 1500rpm, shifted at 5k (which actually shifts at 6k) and got my best 60fott of the night (2.238) but only managed (162.99Km/H). Shifts felt spot on, but the ET wasn't there.I've been chatting with Plazmaman about one of their kits, as I'm interested in kicking it on with one of Alex's Territory Intercooler kits as well as an air filter kit. Combined with injectors, cat, maybe valve springs and surge tank, I reckon I'd have a serious TT. I'm 50/50 at the moment, as I'm contending with the Mrs & being in the middle of a home reno. We'll see. Edited 31/05/08 12:59 AM by Grudgee

I dont believe its got a 10 in it. I do believe there's at least a lower 11.. Considering the 11.4 was a "drive like a bitch off the line with 3psi" type stall up, to get a feel for the track grip on my first run. Although it still cut a 1.76 60 footMy 3rd run I had a awsome launch.. Pitty it seemed like I rolled off the beam during the stall up because I say maybe.. Maybe there was at least a 11.2 there..How good is the track these days? Do they prep it often? I might have to make another trip down there this year if anyone wants to organise a BVW IV ??Good? Dude, im amazed how stickie it was, I saw 2 cars having box trouble that's how sticky it was.As I said above, its pitty I stuffed up my 3rd run.. because it hooked up like it should hook up Either way, I've got a time slip which says 10.80.. Pitty its the other lane. LOL Good work FSIX :>

Donating Members 703 Member For: 20y 3m 5d Gender: Male Location: Melbourne Posted 31/05/08 02:14 AM Share Posted 31/05/08 02:14 AM Yeah I was there consistently choking all night until that last run. Had a few 13+ passes and felt her spluttering at the 2nd to 3rd change. I though wtf, f*ck this before I do any damage and called it a night. Then I thought about it for a bit and realised I only had a 1/4 of a tank of fuel! Rocket run to BP and 1 more run (2 hours later = cold) and she pulled the 12.2. Still with a 60 foot of 2.238. I also saw the Calder media guy taking an interest on that last run so I gave it a bigger burnout. I guess I have to do that every time!!I reckon that when calder opens again in a few months ill hopefully get into the 11s. UBP and retune by then. Might look into a better cooler and surge tanks as well.Good to meet up with a few of the boys as well. Grudgee didnt catch up mate but I did get some HD video of one of you runs.I spent most of the night in the car because I was f*cking dying of frostbite. I dont know how you victorians can do it...
