Auto/manual Flash Tuner Is It The Same?

Hey all, , I'm looking to buy a flash tuner from a mate just wanna know if I can use it because he originally bought it to put in an auto and my car is manual. can I use it or not? or does it need to be sent away and changed? or further more am I better off buying a new one?Any help would be great.

boxes the same. pretty sure the tune needs to be set to your box type though unless it's a really good price like $200 I would just get one off c&v or another site sponsor it saves all the hassle

I'll probably get it for $250-$300 whats a new one worth with the generic 8&10 psi tunes in it?

I am aware that I will probably need a custom tune at 10 psi but I'd be happy running 8 as my car is only running 4psi

go down the the main page to c&v I think their round the $500 mark with their generic tune in it '.

their 10psi generic is a good tune

there always seems to be little dramas when buying second hand boxes

read the whole thread if you got time ,they started at 495 but have gone up since then 595 now I think
