tomorrow will post all I have got including the various a/f and boost for each car ...

cheers

That would be fantastic mate.Really like to see the different boost pressures from different cars,Thus explaining the huge difference in rwkw.

Should I go down to the local ford spare parts and expecially ask for a boost controller out of a red sedan maybe?.

I am sure there will be a conclusion to this interesting subject regardless of dyno used or operater.

Regarding the Melb. dyno day, I've just noticed another possible variable.

  Quote
it was conducted on one of the latest dyno dynamics machines.

with the two runs on the dyno sheet the red line was with the air con on and the blue line was with the air con off.

Mine got 200.9 rwkw, 10500km on clock, premium unleaded, aircon was on, auto in 3rd, air filter in place and completely standard. I took it to the dealer for a minor repair (O-ring on bottom of water pump) about 2 weeks before dyno day and feel that it may have got a CPU flash at same the same time.

I hope this helps answer a few questions. B)

Stop cruizin the forums and get em up will ya.

It's an age old debate that'll never please everyone realy isnt it, I've often wondered what the actual perfect situation is that will have everybody agree that the figures or results are THE figures to measure by.......

Agreed ... just line up side by side over the distance and check the time sheets - dyno figures are just for debate. The REAL talking is done driving ...

From a Melb. perspective what would be involved and where could it take place to have an official day on a 400m strip?

place 30L in each car ... with no octane boost

check that tyre pressures aren't less than 8psi below standard

all seats, trim, spare tyre to be carried,

them there is the rules
