I think this thread is fine. I think it just needs to be kept simple. Just an opportunity to enjoy a nice burger and have a chat about our cars or whatever. Maybe some burnouts on the Scarborough Beach bottom carpark.

I was thinking the last day of the month would be an easy day to remember.

Say Thursday 28th of February at 7pm. Grilled Scabs address is

188 The Esplanade

Scarborough 6922

Ph: 9245 1055

THU: 10.30AM - 10PM

Here is link that gives directions http://www.grilld.com.au/locations/

Also if you havn't been to a Grilled before you can check the site for more info.

Sounds good. I'll mention it in the WA thread for those who don't read the wider forums much.

lol at the burnouts - I know years back it was prime location but the only skid I remember seeing there was on the first xr6t cruise I attended, we were all parked up talking when a VT commo driver lapped through, did a weak single pegger and as he went over the speed bump his boot flew open! Was hilarious.

Some people have missed cruises due to not checking the forum in time, so I've made a facebook group (cheers Ben for the idea).

I do not have the FB contact of everyone here though so get in touch with me if you aren't in the group and are keen. I will still be posting in the forum and things like polls will still be run here.

Turbotrana I am interested in attenting the cruise on the 28th.

Are many going that you know of?

Not that it matters if only a few go, I'd love to have a good yarn with other xr owners :)

cheers

You only need a couple of car guys to have a good yarn. Its not really a cruise, just meet at the beach car park and have a feed at grilled.

So it is on.

We can can talk about turbos and tits but talking about bushes is banned. Dribbling about how fast or how powerful your car is will be allowed as long you prove it with a massive burnout on the beach carpark beforehand.

Looking forward to meeting fellow forum members.

Hahaha, I'm not the type that will drive like a dick head to prove anything, Only really been driving for a year and there is always somebody who's running more boost than me :P

I need to wait for my flight to come through on Wednesday to make sure I do fly home on that day but all should be good - I will confirm again that I am all good.

Car's getting new tyres on Thursday during the day anyway... heh.

A reminder for those single guys and those married/in relationship guys who are not under the thumb, its burger night at grilled. For those guys whose partner wears the pants and isn't allowed out, maybe next time.

TONIGHT IS THE NIGHT at Scabs street front, the home of hoons for 50 yrs

There will be a burnout pad all ready with 20 litres of used oil poured down last night, a 150m drag strip and skimpy girls doing the starts.

Be there or be square.
