...right and wrong in question here IMO

You've got it right there, life is a contradiction, we live them from one to another.

As for my family, at the end of the day it comes down to the guardians and the person involved. I would not want my child involved because of the possible ramifications. If the guardians have not breached their duty of care, and the child was not forced, then who's to say they should no be allowed.

The moral majority?

Again it comes down to morals, and whose sets you apply. Its clear that there is some support for him, therefore its is not a clear cut right and wrong. My morals differ to others, just because I dont see anything morally wrong with mandatory detention for example, doesn't mean the next person wont.

I believe in polygamy but in the eyes of the law I am morally and legally prevented.

Like you said Pat, its 'IMO'.

There is also the rather weak, but semi valid argument that 'if you dont like it dont watch it' that is appiled to half the crap that is put on TV these days. If it offends your morals, remove yourself from it.

you can buy photo frames with pics of lil nuddie babies in them, on law and order they show pics of children used in child porn. does that make them guilty. I agree its very untasteful and would possably attract petophiles to the art, but if everyone involved was happy to do it then I guess that's their decision. Im not sayin I agree with it but just some food for thought

There is a BIG difference between a babies bum and a full frontal shot of a 13yo girl.

Drawing the line about this issue is not censorship, but the classification about what is acceptable.

I think the parents and "artist" should be charged with child abuse. they have essentially exploited the innocence of a young girl, who may not understand the long term results of this.

It is up to the parents to protect their children from this type of exploitation.

The next thing we will see is a sexy pose with a 13yo, or worse if this is not put to a stop now.

If any adult male was caught with these pictures on their PC or house, you can bet they would be arrested as a pedophile.

IMHO it was not child porn, as there was no sexual intent to it. Yes there are pedophiles out there who would get off on it, but there are strange people who get off on seeing someones feet.

That said, to have it publicly displayed is in bad taste, and it is a ploy get create controversy, which most big artists like (there is nothing like a bit of controversy to create free publicity)

It was just a stunt, to get his name in the news and it worked very well. If he makes a sh*t load of cash cause his paintings will go up in value then it will be worth a couple of months in the clink.
