Waht are the best power gains for your money ,what have people done to there cars and what were the power gains.

Start with a good air filter (K&N) and/or cold air setup. 10 - 15kw gain.

Blow off valves sound cool, or you can mod the original to vent to atmosphere and block the hose its normally connected to, to plumb back...

Tune with Xcal II tuner at ya local dyno. 35 - 50kw gain.

Theres a $1000 bucks, good way to start though I rekon...

EXAUST!!!!!!!!!!!! cost over 2 grand but will be one of the best power ups you can do, but you'll need another re-tune... I can't wait to get the cash for 4" dump 3.5" cat and twin 2.5 system!!!

Check out performance packages sold by mobs like CAPA, Plazmaman, Nizpro etc. To get a good idea, but stage 1 kits usually cost round 2 - 3 grand...

I would have thought a lot less KW gain from an air filter, cheap yes, but extreme power no.

As Senna T said, a custom tune without a doubt would be my first pick and what sort of cash you got would certainly make a difference.

Depends on the air filter and setup. As I said "Air filter and/or Cold air = 10 - 15kws"

I installed a SS inductions 'Growler kit' which is basically a pod air filter in a box behind the headlight

using air from behind the headlight and utilises the standard snorkel adding a wind deflector behind the grill to get even more air!

And YES the power is noticeable believe it or not, it also changes the exaust note..!

For me it has always been pretty standard to do in order Cold air, Exaust and Tune for huge results.
