I will take a picture (try) tomorrow. It's on the face of the disc, not really near the edges, just sort of inside it. Small lines, the guy says he's seen it before. I would not think I've ever gotten my brakes hot enough for them to crack if cooled down too quickly, ie going through a puddle.

if anyone reccomends EBC Greenstuff pads, discard all words in the post.

I was "recomended" some too and I think they are by far the absolute worst pads ive ever wasted my money on.

I agree that more dust comes from a pad that performs, but these POS do not perform, fade VERY quickly and have bad pedal feel. the hotter they get the worse they are! Not what youd expect from a "performance" pad.

spend the extra on ferrodo's or something.

Cheers! Will keep in mind for next time I change pads :-)

Genebaby have you soken to anyone at DBA and asked why this may have happened? Are the disks 4000's? Do your disks have the temperature paint markings on the edges?

I would be chasing DBA for some advice.

I can give you a contact at DBA if you like.

My std rotors had these cracks all over them!

Couldn't get a photo in time before it got too dark today. A DBA contact would be cool, thanx.

My old DBA's may have had them but I never thought to look as I didn't think it's something that would affect me with my driving habits, plus if I saw them I wouldn't know what they were.
