Nothing will fit between these types of brakes.

Your caliper only holds the one size pad, you don't get bigger or smaller ones. To increase pad size you must increase caliper size. Of course the standard caliper won't sweep a 330mm rotor all the way, it simply can't because it was designed for a 298mm rotor. This issue exists with BF 322mm rotors, though not as badly, as they are larger than standard too, but the caliper remains the same.Braking is improved through the larger rotor having more thermal capacity when doing hard braking, but the sweep on the rotor stays the same.NO....the pad area is smaller than the standard BA pad on the LTM's I have. TRUST ME. The new 330mm rotors I have don't have more 'rotor' for a bigger pad. Here of some pics of the QFM LTM3000 (as sold to me) and EBC Greenstuff pads for the std BA calipers. The EBC's are fitted and now take up the whole rotor area. You can see the rust line from when the QFM's were fitted. Can't comment on performance yet but I know I would be going for maximum surface area.

Might go back to Ferodo Formula's, let me know what you think of the Greenstuffs, never used EBC

Its possible I was sent the wrong QFM pads I suppose but when I asked the guy said the pads have a 'generic' biscuit that fits the the BA std caliper, BA premium (C6) caliper and a whole range of other backing plates for other cars!! genebaby can you check your rotors to see if the biscuit size is similar to the QFM's I have? Cheers!

Or did they come black when you bought it?

Cheers!I won't be taking mine off unless I'm getting them replaced, and even then it will be a brake shop, I'm not that mechanically inclined. It does sound like they are always smaller and that is just crap. I have them on the rear too and as they didn't make them for BF/Terry rears I sent them the OEM pads and they put LTM pads on them and sent them back. I never saw them but I would hope in this custom case they would have put a full size biscuit on, and there is no rust area on the rears I can remember.I think a pad change/machining is on the cards! The guy at Brakes Plus wanted me to buy 'Brakes Plus' brand pads.. He said they were 30% better than Bendix.. Like I'd trust him, sitting behind a computer reading from a screen.. He seemed asif he had no clue..Ended up going to HiTeck brakes in Moorabbin. The Bendix were $120 which imo are a good price considering Autobarn wanted $175... Good place if you know what you want and dont have too many questions...

Reckons they put your head through the window and were his pad of choice. http://performance.bendix.com.au/StreetRoadTrack.aspxI won't be taking mine off unless I'm getting them replaced, and even then it will be a brake shop, I'm not that mechanically inclined. The only reason I changed them was because of the rust line that looked terrible. Have a look throught the mag and see if there is the same line of rust. XF the rotors came painted but I'm going to clean them up and do it again this weekend so there is absolutely no rust anywhere on the rotor :-)

Doesn't seem like they cover larger BF rears though. I usually run the same pad front and back. I think I want to change, I feel cheated about the pad size, that is not on. Paid $150 for the Greenstuff. I'm interested to see if you had the same dilemma with the 'friction material' size on the rotor.
