I wasn't gonna say I told you so but...

Doesnt explain why they sent mine out and then asked for it back!!! Surely the service department could fix a hose issue!! sounds like more rubbish to me!!!

Guys I know I'm a newbie to the site but my source is reliable, senior person at a tier one supplier which I've known for many years.

I'll let it go now and just wait till the beast arrives :stupid:

Hi guys,

Can someone with access to FORD systems please, PRETTY please please help me out. I ordered an XR6T through my fleet department which was lodged with the factory on the 5/6 JUNE. I rang my delivery dealer (because the order is lodged direct with the factory, dealer didnt really want to help me). I would be thrilled if someone could find my SIDO no.

Details

XR6T

Nitro (Auto, Premium sound, Tech pack & mats).

Order lodged by Telstra fleet on 5/6 June.

Dealer - Cross Country Ford - Muswellbrook NSW.

Name - Nathan Harrod.

If anyone can help out there is a case of beer for you!!

What do you generally need to find a sido no.?? Im not sure why our fleet department wasnt supplied with one, sounds strange that they cant give me one. Rang the dealer, they said ring my fleet department - rang them, they said ring the dealer - rang 13 FORD, they said ring both lol.

Im feeling your pain mate, I spent the day on phone between dealers and fleet leasing company. Fleet leasing company said it goes through thier preffered dealer in Brisbane although he didnt know thier name. Rang round the dealers and gave them fleet company and my companys name and no one could find any record. Leasing company said if I hadnt changed my order to manual about 5 weeks ago I wouldnt be waiting so long. Then continued to tell me they copped a cancellation fee on the auto order we had in originally (why they just couldnt change the existing order to manual I dont know) and that my maunual should be due late july early august. I told him there is a dealer with manual xr6t available end of june and he said too bad they arent our preffered dealer. Why cant someone at least give me a SIDO number??? grrrrrrrrrr

My guess would be that they don't want you ringing them up and telling them that your car should be there today! lol

Alot of fleet salespeople won't really have much motivation to help you out with this stuff, but really if your delivery dealer is looking after your deal, they will know your stock number, I can gaurantee it.

Yeah that is an unfortunate part of using fleet sometimes, of course depends on the dealer too. But I've had mixed results with fleet people over the years. But the difficult ones always respond favourably when you mention the big company you're from and any further business haha.

The service department on the other hand are the best. Probably because I don't care what they charge and keep them busy :)
