Had my turbo since jan this year, its BA mkII and the LSD isn't that tight. Spin it on the spot and it smokes both wheels but when I hit the go pedal through a corner (even in the rain) most of the time only the inside lets go. I've only done a couple of decent burnouts but I do enjoy doing a little drift on wet days. Its fairly stock, just a pod filter and monza intercooler. Just wondering if it is worth putting it back to stock and trying for warranty or paying for it myself? Anyone know if warranty will work or how much it will cost to rebuild?

I reckon you would be a very lucky boy to get this one fixed under warranty. As Josh said you can't really go in and demonstrate to them by doing a huge line-locker in their car park! :roflmbo:

My diff got a little loose after having a "little" bit of fun one night but after ford changed oil in it because of an unrelated issue it helped heaps, it feels normal again, but it wasn't as bad as yours to start with.

I have the opposite problem, mine locks up ALL the time. its tight as hell! the slightest bit of sand when slowly turning, and the inside will skip. same when easing the clutch out at servo's. it is 100% locked with stockies at the back under 60kph.

I use redline oil with no additive.

Thanks for the info. I'll get them to change the diff oil at service in a week or two. It's due for 45000km service, not sure if they have to do it anyway. I live on a dirt road so ill give them the "I got boged" excuse for the ripped up tyres. Don't really want to take the intercooler off again but I'm thinking it might be a good idea. They didn't say anything about my missing middle muffler after last warranty issue. C how I go. cheers.

Got the service done today, they didn't change the oil, just put in the friction additive.

Very happy!

My tires are very unhappy!
