No offence mate, but they must have been lacking a bit on content for the mag, cause theres 7 pages worth!!! These days most front page cars only get like 4.... This is probably the 1st modified XR that I saw (on paper at least) I was astounded at the power figures at the time!!!!

This is my first xr6t up at the Hunter Valley. He seemed to like all the green up there, and blended in very well.

We'd been out in the bus touring a few vineyards. I left him at the hotel because the sampling was, err, serious.

Anyways, I took this shot on the way back to our cabin. I think he had snuck out while we were away and been sampling some happy juice too!

Nice!! Would have been a great drive.

I can relate to driving a few places and sampling too many!

I used to be a lover of hot 4's, to think I was looking at buying a silvia... :spoton: Got talked into a turbo ute (completely different direction) and have been loving the last 3 months of pure bliss! Not that many memories yet but they are all good ones!

Butto :welcome2:

I have that mag with PASHEN in it. I remember seeing it, and thinking "I WANT THIS CAR!!". It was one of the first XR6T's to really make me think these are awesome cars... and the power that it was making was ridiculous... oh and the xbox on the screen inspired me to do mine. I think it was the video of a chick you had playing on there which swayed me... haha

But the thing that really tempted me, was Ross (fordpower on the forums) took me for a drive in his modded T. All it took was one drive and I was convinced that I had to have one. A few searches on carsales later, and visited a few dealers and bought one shortly after. Big thanks to Ross too, cos I had my heart set on a 6spd manual first.... till I test drove the 6spd auto and I was sold!

Heres the dealer photos from the advert. She looks a bit different these days
